FIRST INITIAL CHARGE: 03/22/2022 NLRB Case Number: 05-CB-292784
"Basis of the Charge: I am filing this unfair labor practice (ULP) against the President of Branch 142, Keith Hooks (KH) of because his conduct towards me. To start KH has been antagonistic towards me since I ran for the office of Recording Secretary. During the election process KH conducted an "investigation" of me that included inquiries to DOL. When I won the election KH refused to allow me to attend executive board meeting(s) or train as he did for the person I ran against or let me take the oath of office at the next scheduled union meeting. I had to get the membership during the Union meeting to force my swearing in. Since I have won the election, it is the post-election conduct by KH that I am claiming violates the NLRA. I am claiming that KH's conduct is retribution for me exercising my legal right to run for union office. KH is using his position as president to undermine my ability to represent city craft letter carriers."

*CASE STILL PENDING. PRESIDENT HOOKS DID NOT FILE THIS GRIEVANCE. THIS GRIEVANCE (RIVER TERRACE) WAS TIMELY FILED AT INFORMAL A AND WAS HANDLED BY A MEMBER OF THE WILLIAMS SIMMONS WRIGHT TEAM AT THE FORMAL A LEVEL. IT IS BELIEVED THIS WAS MEANT TO SABOTAGE THE CURRENT PRESIDENT AS WAS THE 160+ GRIEVANCES THAT WERE UNTIMELY AT THE FORMAL A LEVEL THIS YEAR IN THE SAME STATION BY THE SAME PERSON.
SEVENTH CHARGE: NLRB Case Number: 05-CB-302807 (09/06/2022):
* CASE WAS SUSTAINED DUE TO MANAGEMENT'S RIGHT TO HAVE COPIES OF DOCUMENTS WITH THEIR SIGNATURE. MANAGEMENT (CLINTON, MD INSTALLATION) ALLEGED THAT THE UNION STEWARD FORGED THEIR SIGNATURES ON GRIEVANCE DOCUMENTS.

ALL OF THE DISCIPLINES, WHERE THE OPPOSING SLATE HAS STATED CARRIERS HAVE LOST THEIR JOBS (367 CASES), WERE RESCINDED WITH THE EXCEPTION OF TWO. THOSE GRIEVANCES ARE TIMELY AND WILL BE MET ON THE BASIS OF THEIR MERITS DUE TO A GLOBAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AREA (USPS) AND THE NBA'S OFFICE (NALC).
